there he was again
waiting for me

my heart leaped out of my chest
my brain muddled up

i just smiled
carried on walking

he talked to me
i didn't know what to say

i just laughed
just a subtle flirt now and again

he asked my opinion
that shows he really cares

i gave my view
he took it well

just ignored everyone else's
they all got annoyed

we just found it funny
our love grew even more

they were just oblivious
i talked to them as well

to make them feel welcomed
but not as welcomed as us two together

he is so sweet and understanding
only if he just asked me out

we'd be perfect
i'd no longer have to say i've never had a relationship
